Under another agreement, LCC students who complete an associate degree in engineering technology, electronic options, will be eligible to enroll in EKU's four-year programs in computer electronic networking and industrial technology. Also, LCC students who complete the two-year architectural technology program are now eligible for advanced study in Eastern's construction management program. "We are certainly excited to solidify these agreements with Eastern Kentucky University," said LCC President Dr. Jim Kerley. "These types of articulation agreements are vital between institutions so that students can continue their postsecondary education." EKU President Joanne Glasser called the agreements "a perfect example of how educational institutions can - and must - work collaboratively. Together, we will continue to provide access to quality educational programs to students throughout Central Kentucky. Together, we will help address the region's workforce needs, contribute to economic development for this great Commonwealth and enrich the lives of Kentuckians." |
