Paula Rothenberg, director of The New Jersey Project on Inclusive Scholarship, Curriculum and Teaching, will visit the EKU campus Feb. 5-7 to speak, conduct workshops and meet with various segments of the campus community.

Rothenberg, who also is professor of philosophy and women's studies at William Patterson University, has lectured and consulted on multicultural and gender curriculum transformation at hundreds of colleges and universities across the country. Her articles and essays have appeared in journals and anthologies across the disciplines, and many have been widely reprinted. She is the author of "Invisible Privilege: A Memoir about Race, Class and Gender in the United States" and "White Privilege: Essential Reading about the Other Side of Racism."

Rothenberg will speak at the following events:

** "Beyond Egg Rolls and Tacos: Multiculturalism and Critical Thinking," general session for faculty, staff and students, Tuesday, Feb. 5, 4 p.m., Grand Reading Room Crabbe Library.

** "Multicultural Curriculum Transformation: Challenges and Strategies," faculty workshop, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 9-11 a.m., and Thursday, Feb. 7, 9-11 a.m., Faculty Lounge, Keen Johnson Building.

She also will meet with the University's Diversity Committee, Women's Studies and Honors Program faculty and the General Education Committee.

Rothenberg's visit is co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, the University's Diversity Committee, Honors Program, Institutional Research, Multicultural Student Services, Teaching and Learning Center and Women's Studies.
